David and Shirley started Popham Hairdressing in 2002 and have now grown the company to 37 staff and 3 salons. As Oxford’s Sassoon Professional Partner and the only UK hairdressing company to be awarded Champion Investor in people, Popham has also just won the Small Business Apprenticeship Employer of the Year 2018 and continues to have a great reputation to uphold.
In the past, their computerised system seemed to provide more hurdles to overcome than benefits and with the busy day to day running of Popham hairdressing, meant Shirley and David found they just didn’t have time to deal with a problematic IT company. Finding their supplier increasingly difficult to contact, a drain on finances and inefficient, they had decided that enough was enough and set out to find some IT Superheroes!
Tekeez came onboard to support Popham Hairdressing in the background to enable them to focus on what they did best. A general maintenance plan, support and advice, assistance with email systems and web hosting meant that Shirley and Popham Hairdressing could focus on growth and they soon started up a third salon!
